Rally of Ralidos

The family Rallidae is one of the most representative since it is the second (after Scolopacidae) in number of species. Since 2014, and based on the scarce information available on the 30 species of raids, of which 25 are residents, three are migratory and two have both resident and migratory populations in Colombia; from the Calidris Association the RALLY OF RÁLIDOS was established in order to obtain information on the presence of the majority of Colombian ralid species, identify pressures and local threats to which the group is subjected, and eventually determine the status and population trends for the species and awakening the interest of the ornithological community in this group little studied both in Colombia and in the hemisphere
