My interests include using big data to assess the impact of climate change in the Arctic. Along with colleagues in Scandinavia, we developed a model that upscaled NEE data across the Arctic from 2008-2010. I am very interested in the opportunities that big earth observation offer for monitoring the Arctic`s terrestrial (permafrost peatland) environment and refining knowledge of carbon dynamics.
